Early morning departure for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park — a scenic 8–9 hour drive through Uganda's beautiful countryside with lunch stops en route. Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi in the evening and prepare for tomorrow's gorilla trek.

Gorilla tracking day! After an early breakfast, report to the park headquarters for briefing at 7:30 AM. Trek through the ancient rainforest to find your assigned gorilla family and spend one magical hour in their presence. For photographers and wildlife enthusiasts, gorilla habituation ($1,500) offers 4 hours of interaction in the Rushaga sector. Return to the lodge to rest.

Transfer to Kisoro and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park — the park where gold meets silver. Home to mountain gorillas and the rare golden monkeys against a backdrop of three extinct Virunga volcanoes. After lunch, track golden monkeys through bamboo forests (30 minutes to 3 hours). In the evening, enjoy the Batwa cultural experience — learn about the indigenous forest people who once lived alongside the gorillas.

After breakfast, begin the return journey to Entebbe. Alternatively, opt for a scenic flight from Kisoro airstrip to Entebbe (approximately 2 hours). Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. End of safari.
